Highlight Video Mardi Gras Parade 2024 | Dothan Alabama

Highlight video of the Mardi Gras parade in Dothan, Alabama. For the past few years, I have had the opportunity to create videos of the Mardi Gras parade in Downtown Dothan. This year, there was a little bit of a challenge, being I was not allowed inside the barricades, but I still wanted to put something together. With limited time and access, this is what I was able to make out of the footage captured.

Gratitude on the Go | Dothan, Alabama | a film by Orran Scruggs and Joshua Bane

Mike Schmitz thank you so much for pouring out love to our community! We set out to film a foodie vlog, but turned out to be a film capturing how small businesses were able to feed our city. The impact we got to witness is something we will never forget. thank you so much for pouring out love to our community! VEDA + Create No Matter What

VEDA + Create No Matter What might just be the thing I need during this time of staying at home. VEDA stands for, “vlog every day in April (or August).” Create No Matter What is a new campaign inspired to encourage others and me to create despite our circumstances. The two ideas could really help push me to create the content I have been wanting to make.

Watch the Wiregrass

Supporting local goes beyond just a certain genre of businesses or even physical locations/products. This coronavirus crisis is causing people to think of alternative ways to get their message and product to their customers. Restaurants are doing curbside services, DJs are streaming sessions online, and churches are also streaming their services online. There are some great ideas and efforts being made.

I’ve found encouragement from fellow creators to keep in the fight and not give up. I want to help as well. That’s where Watch the Wiregrass come in play.
